    The flower island in Lake Constance has its special charm at any time of year and should not be missing from the to-do list of any visitor to Constance.
  • Meersburg
    Whether it’s the castle or the New Palace, Meersburg is not only one of the most beautiful cities on Lake Constance, but, with its old town, is also one of the most beautiful cities in Germany.
  • Dornier Museum
    The Friedrichshafen-based Museum of Technology bears witness to the pioneering work of aircraft designer Claude Dornier. Located directly at the airport, it brings 100 years of exciting aviation and aerospace history to life.

  • Karren
    You can climb the mountain on the outskirts of Dornbirn on foot or by cable car. At the top, you not only have an overwhelming view over the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance and the Swiss mountains – you can also enjoy some excellent food.
  • Inatura
    The somewhat different natural history museum in Dornbirn. Experience flora and fauna up close and child-friendly… a must for days when the weather is not so good.
  • Pfänder
    Bregenz’s local mountain offers a unique panoramic view of the entire Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The alpine wildlife park and the mountain scenery wall make the Pfänder an experience for families as a destination for excursions.

Switzerland

  • Säntis
    A little further away from Konstanz, but all the higher for it. The Säntis is the mountain of weather records. Here the weather is always spectacular.
  • Zoo Zürich
    Super-convenient to reach by train from Konstanz, Zurich Zoo offers a wonderful view of wild animals in their natural environment with the Masoala Hall and the outdoor enclosures that have been completely redesigned in recent years.
  • Rhine Falls
    By boat from Constance, past excursion destinations such as Stein am Rhein and the island of Reichenau, to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. There, huge masses of water tumble down the rocks over a width of 150 m, a truly magnificent natural spectacle.
